Garmin makes some of the best traditional multisport fitness watches, and one of its top models still commands a spot on our list of the best fitness trackers: the Garmin Fenix 7S Pro. Now through Cyber Monday, you can get that watch for just $529.99 ($270 off) at Wellbots when using the Verge-exclusive code VERGEBF270. That code will also work on the base Fenix 7 Pro ($529.99 after the discount), the Fenix 7X Pro (down to $629.99), and the Garmin Tactix 7 ($829.99). These are some of the lowest prices recorded yet.
Wellbots is also offering all-time low prices on other Garmin wearables and devices as part of its early Black Friday promotion. You can save $120 on the Garmin Forerunner 265 (now just $329.99) and Forerunner 965 ($479.99) with code VERGEBF120, and get the InReach Mini 2 for $289.99 ($110 off) at Wellbots with code VERGEBF110.
The Fenix 8 recently launched and comes with an OLED option, voice assistants, and diving features, but we feel its lack of LTE makes it hard to justify a $350 premium compared to the base Fenix 7. The idea is to stay off-grid anyway, right? You can still do that without fear of getting lost thanks to the Fenix 7 Pro seriesโ built-in multiband GPS with topographical maps and solar charging. It also supports music, smartphone notifications, and other hybrid connected features when paired with a smartphone. Fueling the rich vitality metrics are heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring sensors; a compass, gyroscopes, and altimeters; and accelerometers, thermometers, and barometers. These watches can last weeks on battery, too, largely thanks to their memory-in-pixel display.
The Forerunner devices, meanwhile, offer similar fitness features, rounded AMOLED displays for detailed color maps, and dual-frequency GPS. The Forerunner 265, specifically, is our favorite Garmin for runners. You wonโt get solar charging on them, however, and they canโt take the same beating as the military-grade Fenix 7 Pro series. The walkie-resembling InReach Mini 2 isnโt a fitness device, but offers two-way messaging and location sharing over satellite.
